By now you have heard there is a Theta Chi reunion taking place November 15th, 2008. I am pretty excited about this event. If everything goes right, you will be, too. There are many people who are putting forth a lot of effort into having a great time. I say we all show up and reap the benefits of their work.
If you haven't read Kramer's email here are the highlights:
- Party at the house on November 15th
- There will be booze
- We have a home football game that day against #1 Ranked South Carolina
- Bring your family, kids, & girlfriend's or wives's (please, not both).
I may have embellished the South Carolina ranking.
I have been able to obtain contact information for most of the Spring '95 pledge class, but there are a few of us still MIA.
Figurski, Morphesis, Guzman, Stout, Chan, and Noah are all among those for whom I need contact info.
By now you are probably asking yourself "This is a fantastic blog site. I wonder how in the world we can afford to maintain a web page dedicated entirely to people who haven't paid dues in about a decade?" The answer it simple. It is running entirely off interest made by investing my pledge class dues.
Energy is really building for this event. There are people who are investing a large amount of time to ensure its success, like George Kramer. If you have any questions regarding the event that I can't help answer for you, please feel free to contact George @ GKramer@glatting.com.
To help put some of the time aspects in perspective for how long it's been since we were initiated into Theta Chi, I'd like to pop into memory lane for a minute:
- In 1995, the Yankees had not won the World Series since 1978. There was no evil empire and Jeetah was not able to have sex with any living person in NYC at the drop of a hat
- 2Pac and Big Poppa were both still alive
- Gas was under $1/gallon
- MTv still showed videos
- There was no South Park
- Streaming Internet porn was a pipe dream
- Uncle Jailbird Joey had not yet made parole
